Massage Therapist - Albany, NY

The purpose of the Massage Therapist is to provide the highest level of massage service to members and guests. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and team members as provided in the Team Member Handbook at the time of hire. This position will require weekend availability.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Graduate of an accredited School of Massage Therapy required.
State and National licenses required.
Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to scheduling appointments for the members.
CPR/AED certification required.

Fitness Specialist - Albany, NY

The purpose of the Fitness Specialist is to provide professional fitness service to members, clients and guests of the center to appropriately meet the health and fitness needs of each individual. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and team members as provided in the Team Member Handbook at the time of hire.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree from as 4 year college or university in a health-related, exercise science, kinesiology, or physical education major required.
A current NCCA accredited certification (i.e., ACSM CPT, ACSM HFS, NSCA CPT, NSCA CSCS, NASM CPT, ACE, etc.) is required.
Highly desirable certifications in clinical exercise are the ACSM CES, ACSM RCEP, and NATA ATC.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. ACLS training preferred.
Prior work experience or an internship in the fitness industry preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner required.
Proficient computer and word processing skills required.
Ability to manage multiple projects with high level of organizational skills and efficiency.
Knowledge and general use of Microsoft Excel/spreadsheet software and other core business software (Compete) preferred.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
ACLS training preferred.

Environmental Services Associate - Albany, NY

Maintain the facility with consistent standards of order, cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. This position will maintain locker rooms, including restrooms, showers, saunas, Jacuzzi’s, showers, and steam rooms. Keep laundry room clean and organized. Empty trash, replace liners, break down and throw out used boxes, check exterior grounds for trash and remove. Must also be able to accept deliveries properly and locate stock to designated areas when needed. Individual should be a team player with the commitment to be flexible and accommodating to the hours we serve our members and the desire to contribute to the team effort. This position is for weekday shifts.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

High school diploma or GED
Excellent customer service skills
Housekeeping experience preferred
CPR and AED certification

Sales Lead - Albany, NY

The purpose of the Sales Lead is to oversee and supervise the daily activities of the sales associates as designated at one or more assigned Center. He/she will be responsible for acquiring new memberships, which includes the use of superior customer service and guest relations, innovative ideas, and marketing skills. He/she will work directly with Power Wellness to establish center sales structure and implement and measure the results/ROI of sales plans focused on acquiring new members. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and team members as provided in the Team Member Handbook at the time of hire.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the sales field required.
1-3 years of management experience required, leading, supervising, coaching, motivating and training a sales team.
Fitness industry sales experience and/or healthcare specific sales experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, hospitality or a related field preferred.
Ability to collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral materials.
Excellent sales, marketing, research and tracking skills required.
Proficient computer skills; including basic knowledge of core business software (Compete) required.
Possess strong interpersonal communication, customer service and presentation skills. Possess excellent writing skills.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
